The Early Bird is one of a selection of pieces currently available from the wonderful Northern Lights Gallery in Keswick and online…
The Early Bird is about a favourite moorland walk, especially in the very early morning, when there’s nobody about.….the painting is made up of a huge number of layers of opaque and translucent paint.
It’s richly coloured and dramatic, with a sky that suggests potential for rain soon.
The painting itself is 50cm x 50 cm and it’s framed in a bespoke contemporary white painted wooden frame.
